The 200,000 egg-laying duck cage project of Yuanzhuo Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in Wuliyuan, Xiuwu, Jiaozuo, Henan Province, promotes the new model of "125" standardized cage technology for egg-laying duck farming and promotes the development of the egg-laying duck industry.
The "125" standardized cage rearing technology for egg-laying ducks involves raising over 20,000 egg-laying ducks in one fully enclosed duck house. It is equipped with five types of rearing equipment: stacked egg-laying duck cages, automatic environmental control equipment, automatic feeding and drinking water equipment, automatic manure cleaning equipment, and automatic egg collection equipment (a total of five types of rearing equipment) for intensive facility rearing of egg-laying ducks. This technology features high efficiency, low consumption, safety and stability, as well as ecological and environmental protection. It is an advanced technology that promotes the high-quality development of egg-laying duck breeding enterprises.
The Wuliyuan Ugly Duck Egg Duck Cage Project is located 10 kilometers north of Xiuwu City, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, at the foot of the World Geopark - "Yuntai Mountain".
Wuliyuan preserved eggs have been included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection of Henan Province. With its unique and rich local specialties, it has been awarded the title of "Famous Trademark" and Intangible Cultural heritage protection in Henan Province.
Currently underway is the first phase of the project, featuring two standardized factory buildings that are 85 meters long, 12 meters wide, and 4.7 meters high with eaves. Each building can accommodate 20,000 egg-laying ducks and is equipped with automated cage rearing equipment for stacked egg-laying ducks developed by Yuanzhuo Agricultural and Animal Husbandry System. The second phase of the project will commence construction after the Spring Festival of 2025.
